Find The Hero
Find the Hero is a narrative driven point-and-click adventure game. The princess is searching for a hero and she will find her hero in the most unlikely of places.
To play: Point and click (or touch screen on mobile) to move the character where you want to go. Search for and collide with books to unlock new game elements, characters, story, and transition to new levels.
This is a team project for GameDev.Tv Jam 2022 Project team: Neo-Cortex, Shannan Albright, SheepFreak, Nara Malone.
Licensing for source code: Various assets have different use license and a file detailing those is in the source folder.

It was a cute game. The locked perspective made it difficult to get a sense of the realm it took place in. An inset map would have helped orient me as I moved about. The animations were well done and delightful. (Mr. SM)
Awesome game. runs fine. cool graphics.
That was a delight! It took me a few times to figure out how to find all the hidden books and restoring my health by lighting stuff on fire, but it was wonderful to see the critter animation and the puzzle patterns. I liked that the character found her own heroism. Great game for all ages.
I enjoyed the mechanics - the method of moving is good! I advanced through the levels and 'enjoyed' the story. Seemed intuitive enough to me without instructions. Good work! :) ps don't listen to kort gaming review below

Hi, we made it for a game jam and really should have included some instructions or a help page but we ran out of time. You have to find the books and as you find each one it opens more of the game, reveals the characters, and advances you to new levels. Thanks for commenting!
